Breakfast of Champions

Long time, no post! Sorry 'bout that!

We spent a couple of weekends at my parent's house in February. Emily, Ryan & the kiddos made the trip, so we came home for some needed family time.

On Saturday morning, typical Grant woke before anyone else and quickly ran into my room asking where he could find Theo. He then proceeded to wake Gracie and we gathered in the kitchen for breakfast;  Girl Scout Thanks-A-Lot cookies and Keurig hot chocolate. A sugary combination? Yes. A delicious and brilliant combination? Most definitely.

Grandma did not particularly enjoy the chocolaty hands climbing all over the brown leather couch and Emily found the sugar rush at 9:00 in the morning to be less than amusing. I, however, won major favorite aunt points. That is a win in my books any day.
